Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will deposit an amount of Rs 135 crore rupees by one click in bank accounts of 1,35, 545 farmers registered under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana in a Kisan Mahasammelan in Ujjain on November 22. All the farmers are those who have sold their notified crops under the scheme in the Krishi Upaj Mandi between October 16 and 31. The highest number of farmers benefited under the scheme are 12, 041 from Rajgarh district, 10, 290 from Ujjain district, 8,255 from Dewas district and 7,589 farmers from Sehore district.
Till today, farmers registered under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana have already sold 16.13 lakh metric tonnes notified crops. At present, registration of new farmers is undergoing at 3500 e-procurement centers between November 15 and 25. So far, 1 lakh 4 thousand applications have been received for new registration.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s speech will be broadcast live from Kisan Mahasammelan. Farmers will watch this live broadcast in 257 mandis and arrangement is being made for this.
